The term “metalworking fluid” (MWF) refers to a variety of oils and other liquids that are used to cool and/or lubricate metal workpieces during the machining, grinding, milling, etc. processes. MWFs aid in preventing burning and smoking by reducing heat and friction between the cutting tool and the workpiece.
